Richard joined London-based property firm Edwin Hill post-university and stayed with them for 20 years, rising to the position of senior equity partner.
Instrumental in the set-up and development of the Midlands and North's key satellite markets, Richard acted for and advised a myriad of global blue-chip clients on agency and acquisition.
Following the sale of the business to Canadian property group Altus, he left to set up Potter Learoyd Commercial.
Within the office, Richard’s primary role is as Principal Agent and new business development.

Marcus brings the client perspective to the partnership having chartered the meteoric rise of mobile phone giant Carphone Warehouse from a start-up in the early 1990s.
Primarily tasked with driving sales, Marcus spent his final 5 years in various senior managerial roles at the global PLC.
Marcus has built up a comprehensive knowledge of the needs of growing and ambitious companies in terms of location, suitability for purpose, and occupational cost.
Within the office, Marcus oversees international acquisition instructions along with the development of all marketing materials.
